What personal data do we collect, by what means and for what purpose?
a. When you visit our website, www.rh-pr.de, the browser used on your device will automatically send information to the server hosting our website. This information is stored temporarily in a so-called log file. In this process, the following information is captured without any action on your part and stored until automated deletion:
- IP address of computer sending the request,
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the file requested,
- Website from which access was made (referrer URL),
- Browser and, where applicable, the operating system of your computer together with the name of your access provider.
We process the data listed above for the following purposes:
- To ensure that a trouble-free connection to the website is established
- To ensure easy use of our website,
- To evaluate system security and stability, and
- For other administrative purposes.
The legal basis for processing these data is article 6 section 1 subsection 1 paragraph f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legitimate interest is based on the purposes for data collection listed above. We never use the collected data to make an inference about your identity.
In addition, we use cookies and analytical tools when you visit our website. You can find detailed explanations about these in sections 3) and 4) of this data privacy statement.
b. Our website provides a contact form that can be used to contact us electronically. When a user makes use of this option, the data entered in the input mask are transferred to us and stored. These data are:
- Name
- Subject
- Message
- IP address of the device making the request
- Date and time of the request
Data processing for the purpose of establishing contact with us is performed in accordance with article 6 section 1 subsection 1 paragraph a of the GDPR on the basis of the consent you gave voluntarily. No data are disclosed to any third party in connection with this. The data are used for the sole purpose of processing the dialogue.
As an alternative option, contact may also be made using the e-mail address provided. In this case, no user data are stored via the website.
The legal basis for processing data transmitted when an e-mail is sent is provided by article 6 section 1 paragraph f of the GDPR. If the aim of the e-mail contact is the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is also provided by article 6 section 1 paragraph b of the GDPR.
Purpose of data processing
The sole purpose of processing personal data from the input mask is to deal with the contact request. In the case of contact by e-mail, there is also the necessary legitimate interest in processing the data.
The other personal data processed during the dispatch process serve to prevent any misuse of the contact form and to ensure the protection of our IT systems.
Duration of storage
The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. This is then the case for the personal data from the input mask of the contact form and those transmitted by e-mail when the relevant dialogue with the user is terminated. The dialogue is terminated when it is clear from the circumstances that the facts of the matter in question have been fully clarified.
The additional data collected during the dispatch process are deleted at the latest after a period of seven days.

- It is legally permissible and is necessary for the performance of a contract with you in accordance with article 6 section 1 subsection 1 paragraph b of the GDPR.

We use cookies on our website. They are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your device (laptop, tablet PC, smartphone etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies cause no harm to your device. They contain no viruses, Trojans or other types of malware.

We can also use this feature to capture usage statistics for our website and to evaluate them in order to optimize our offering for you. These interests are to be deemed legitimate under the terms of the aforementioned provision. Pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies used in this context (see section 3).

Contract data processing with Google
We have concluded an agreement for data processing with Google and apply the strict regulations of the German data protection authorities in full to the use of Google Analytics.

The underlying promotional purpose is deemed to be a legitimate interest under the terms of the GDPR. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation must be assured by the relevant provider. We have integrated these plug-ins using the so-called two-click method in order to provide optimum protection to visitors to our website.
Social media plug-ins (“plug-ins”) from Facebook are deployed on our website to personalise the user experience. To this end, we use the “LIKE” and “SHARE” buttons. These are a service provided by Facebook.

We use the open source software Joomla to analyse and statistically evaluate use of our website. We use cookies (see section 4) for this purpose. The information about website use generated by the cookie is transferred to our server, where it is summarised in pseudonymous usage profiles. This information is used to analyse use of our website and to allow us to design our website to better meet user requirements. The data is not passed on to any other third party.
We will not associate the IP address with any other data relating to the user. IP addresses are anonymised to prevent any possibility of attribution (IP masking).

During your visit to our website, we use the common SSL (secure socket layer) method in combination with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser to secure communication. This generally involves 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption we instead use 128-bit v3 technology.
